It seems Apple is in trouble. After iPhones unavailability in UK, it is now not available in online Apple stores in US either. Both 8 GB and 16 GB versions are out of stock.
iPhone sold out
One can assume that 3G iPhone launch is around the corner. However, we should not forget that sometimes those stocks get replenished. Still, it would be safe to say that early June would be a possible 3G iPhone release date. That is when the shortages should end too.
