The Star Trek tricoder web-app allows you to detect bio signs, as well as other things; well everything a real tricoder should do, but from your iPhone.

To be honest its useless app, but might be fun to show of in a party. One thing it misses though is sounds. Maybe it will become native eventually, with possibility to detect other tricoder users. Now that’s a date finder!
