Following news of free 3G iPhones that will be available to current iPhone owners from O2, there’s even more great news coming from the UK.

It appears that United Kingdom will be the first country in Europe — and in the world — to get a pay-as-you-go no-contract iPhone in early July.

While no exact information is available as of yet on the specifics of this offer, here’s what the O2 website says about it:

Customers will soon be able to enjoy all the great features of iPhone without a monthly contract with the iPhone for Pay & Go.
