Installer sources were updated adding several interesting programs for iPhone maintenance. First is Shutdown. This is a simple app, which shutdowns your iPhone. It is useful if your sleep button is broken. It is also more convenient than pressing home-sleep combo and waiting for several seconds. Of course it is better not to press on it by accident, since it shuts your iPhone without warning.

Other app is Lock, which locks your iPhone. It does the same as pressing sleep button on the top of the iPhone. Yet again if your sleep button doesn’t work this app is especially useful.
The last app which I want to talk about is iReboot. This app combines options to reboot or shutdown your iPhone, as well as an option to restart springboard. It is a really convenient tool for those tasks.

Shutdown and Lock is available from iClarified sources (http://installer.iclarified.com) found in iClarified category and iReboot from iSpazio (repo.ispazio.net) sources found in Utilities.
iDimLight lets you manually choose dim time for iPhone backlight. This is useful if you are trying to use the battery to the last. Once you launch the app you will be given a dialog, where you can enter amount of seconds before the light turns off. You can type -1 to disable the app. Once you set the time, app will ask to restart SpringBoard.

One tiny thing to this app, is that you will need to have Ericas Utilities (in Utilities category) installed.
The app is available if you have Bigboss Apps and Things in your Installer.app sources. You will find it in Productivity category.
