Apple has told programmers who have developed iPhone applications that they’ll need to submit them by noon (Pacific) today if they want to be there at the App Store’s launch.
Perhaps Apple just wants a little extra time to prepare for a Friday launch, but some observers think the company will actually open the store a few days early.
An early launch would give Apple time to work out any kinks in the system before the main Friday launch.
It would also give owners of the original iPhone and the iPod touch a chance to get an early preview of all the cool apps.
