Boston (dbTechno) - Apple has announced that they are going to be offering a 60-day extension to all MobileMe accounts to try and make it up to users, who have been struggling through problems with the software.
Back when the iPhone 3G launched, so did the replacement to the .Mac service, MobileMe.
MobileMe is Apple’s subscription-based online service, giving customers access to a variety of tools.
It launched day and date with the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 2.0 software update.
Upon its launch though, MobileMe was hit with a series of problems, keeping users from getting into their e-mail, syncing problems, etc.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs even went as far as to come out and tell Apple employees that MobileMe was “not up to Apple standards.”
For thos, they have offered another 60-day extension to MobileMe subscribers.
This is on top of the 30-days free the company recently offered in July.
