Google Android Phone to rival Apple’s iPhone

According to New York Times, Google is close to launch new interactive smart phone by teaming up with T-mobile and HTC. It will come with features like touch screen, slide-out and five row keyword, said in the New York Times report.

Like Apple’s iPhone 3G, Google phone will also have Android software which allows mobile users to download new apps.

Google phone will be launched at the time of holiday shopping season at the end of the year. It will also going through federal Communications Commission review for industry standards.

Google Phone“The launch of Android is an important milestone in the industry,” According to Richard Wong, a venture capitalist at Accel Partners, told to times. He further added that He found it most exciting that Google rivalry to Apple in mobile market “forces others to innovate faster.”

According to Google Chief Executive Officer Eric Schmidt told to CNBC “We can make more money on mobile than we do on the desktop, eventually”
