Apple iPhone 3G now No2 corporate handset after outpacing Palm

There really is no stopping the Apple iPhone 3G, it is the most reliable smartphone there is, and has been proclaimed by business customers as the most satisfying mobile handset. The Apple iPhone has out done the Motorola RAZR in the United States, and Apple has taken the number two spot in the corporate smartphone market.

According to a new survey carried out by ChangeWave Research, the Apple iPhone 3G has now snapped up an addition 5 percentage points to its corporate market share. This boost has resulted in putting the Apple iPhone ahead of Palm and thus making Apple the second best selling corporate smartphone.

ChangeWave predicts that 45 percent of companies are looking to decrease or abandon their IT spending in the first quarter of 09, which slightly dampens the news of Apple’s rise in corporate market share.
