Washington (dbTechno) - Apple has reportedly banned a book from release on the iPhone App Store due to language that it contained.
The book was written by an editor over at the highly-respected site Cnet, David Carnoy.
The book, Knife Music, was submitted for approval in the hopes that it would get a release on the App Store.
The book has already been published through Amazon, and has received praise to this point.
The release on the App Store was going to be done through the TouchBooks Reader software available.
Apple would not have it though, as they did not allow the release of the book on the iPhone App Store.
The reason for the ban was that it reportedly contained “objectionable content.”
This content includes things that could be considered “obscene, pornographic, offensive, or defamatory…”
