Seattle- To make taking photos and printing them even easier, HP has announced that they now have a free application on the Apple’s App Store that allows users to upload and print their photos anywhere there is a printer and wireless connection available. The application is called iPrint Photo.
It seems that many people who take pictures forget to print them out, so the intent of this application is to make printing pictures a relevant aspect regarding mobile services. With the new application photos that are 4 by 6 in size can be printed on HP inkjet printers. Some of the older models of the HP inkjet printers may not work with the application but HP says that it is compatible with Bonjour and Apple’s ZeroConf network.
With many photos taken by phones these days, it is about time that someone comes out with an application that can be used to print them out. No more having to wait until you can download them onto a computer and print them out that way, just take a picture on the iPhone and print it out right there.
The application is very easy to access and use. Once the application is downloaded to the iPhone, just click on the app, select your photos, and press the print button. With the new, easy to use application, and the fact that it is free, printing photos from the iPhone should become yet another popular aspect of this mobile device.
Here are the features of the application:
1. HP iPrint Photo is used with wireless internet connections that include Netgear, D link, Apple Airport and Linksys.
2. With the technology of Bonjour, which is also compatible with the app, it will identify any wireless printers from HP or those printers that HP supports.
3. Using image de-noise filtering technology, you get better quality photos printed.
With the ease of getting the app to the phone it is worth checking out and seeing for yourself what this new application can provide. HP has truly though of their consumers and what they would like to have available to them by creating this application for its users. Not only does it help consumers get what they want but it also brings them to pay more attention to their products the next time someone thinks of purchasing something they can provide.
Stay tuned to see what HP comes up with next for this mobile device, along with the many other companies who are starting think of what their consumers really want to have.
