Best Buy begins selling refurbished iPhone 3G devices

Posted in iPhone News by admin. Published January 7th, 2009

Best Buy, the first major independent U.S. retailer to sell Apple’s iPhone 3G, has begun selling refurbished versions of the phone at a $50 discount, continuing the trend that started a few weeks ago by AT&T.

The retailer is selling the 8GB version for $149 and the 16GB version for $249. The refurbished phones are ones that were returned during the 30-day trial period and may have minor scratches.
