First iPhone iGames Summit set in March

The first ever iPhone games summit has been set and iphone gamers and games developers are bookmarking March 19, the tentative schedule of the first iGames Summit 2009.

As early as today, gaming companies Booyah, Zynga, admob, SGN, and Tapulous have already confirmed participation for the March 19, 2009 summit in San Francisco, California USA.

Proposed topics to be discussed include Social Games on the iPhone, Secrets to Great Distribution of an iPhone Game, Taking Advantage of the iPhone’s GPS and Accelerometer Capabilities, Multiplatform iPhone Games - Bridging the Web and Mobile, Monetizing iPhone Games.

“we’re organizing our first event focused on the vibrant iPhone games market,” Charles Hudson, organizer of the event, explained. “Our half-day event will bring together leading iPhone game developers, investors, and industry executives to share their collective wisdom on what’s working today and where this exciting industry is heading.”

The iGames Summit 2009 is organized by 3rd Power LLC, the team behind the Virtual Goods Summit and the Social Gaming Summit.
