Google has launched a new, iPhone optimized version of their Google Books portal that gives iPhone users access to Google Books’ selection via an optimized interface.
iPhone optimized Google Book Search features over 1.5 million mobile public domain books in the US (and over half a million outside the US) for you to browse and read.
All these eBooks were scanned from actual book pages by Google staff, using Optical Character Recognition (or OCR for short), and then formatted for iPhone’s screen resolution.

To access Google Books on your iPhone, proceed to http://books.google.com/m .
