
Scottish game developer digital Goldfish has partnered with online flash specialist Ninja Kiwi to bring the casual game Bloon to iPhone and iPod Touch.
Bloons is a popular skill-based game made by Ninja Kiwi, which challenges uses to pop balloons with darts. With close to a million users registered to play on the Bloons World site and three million user generated levels, the game is due on the App Store in the coming months.
“For a long time, we’ve been thinking about bringing Bloons to other platforms because it’s such a good fit,” said Ninja Kiwi MD Chris Harris. “We’re really excited now to be working with Digital Goldfish to finally make this happen. And from what we’ve seen, the game translates to iPhone every bit as well as we’d hoped.”
Based in Dundee, Digital Goldfish is an experienced iPhone and mobile developer, and has enjoyed success with several releases including its Reach for the Starz title. Auckland’s Ninja Kiwi has built a reputation on Bloons’ popularity, and has since created several games including Boombot, Potion Panic and Replay Racer.

Many early reviews of the TV.com app are enthusiastic, commutes are much more entertaining when you can watch an episode of CSI: Miami, the season premier of Tudors then customize your own feed.
Some frustrated would-be viewers, however, complained about videos not loading,scarcity of full episodes and iffy quality.
