You Have How Many iPhone Games?

The iPhone and iPod Touch have not only changed mobile gaming, but Apple’s devices are also affecting the entire portable gaming landscape. Each week, over a hundred new games drop into the App Store, clawing at each other for a chance to get some of your download dollars. IGN Wireless readers are largely positive about the first six months of the App Store, downloading games on to their devices and talking about them with friends — and us.

Too get an idea of just how “into” iPhone gaming you are, IGN Wireless asked how many games you have on your iPhone. Here’s how you answered:

1-5: 17%
6-10: 16%
11-15: 12%
16-20: 8%
More than 21: 26%
None: 3%
I don’t have an iPhone: 18%

A lot of you are downloading games for your iPhones. But how many of those downloads were impulse grabs versus planned purchases? Did you download a bunch of stuff as soon as you got an iPhone, just to see what it can do? Or are you buying games regularly each month, supplanting other portable gaming with the iPhone?
