Justice is coming … to iPhone 3G!

This month, Apple iPhone 3G users will be offered a chance to immerse themselves in the world of one of this year’s biggest comic book movies.

Warner Bros Digital has announced the launch of Watchmen: Justice Is Coming, a new game for the platform that will tie in on the Zak Snyder-directed movie that hits cinemas this week.

Set around the journal of its central character Rorschach, Watchmen tells the tale of a 1980’s New York in which superheroes have been outlawed.

When one of their number is killed, it becomes apparent there is something sinister at work and Rorschach begins an investigation that will once again bring together the masked vigilantes in their city’s hour of need.

It is thought the iPhone and iPod Touch game will follow this plot and provide the chance for gamers to take part in “a dynamic strategy fighting game”.

Watchmen the movie and game are based on the graphic novel of the same name penned by writer Alan Moore.
