I don’t have an iPhone (yet), but if I did, I’d start collecting beer-related apps. The president of the Boston-area homebrew club the Wort Processors, Kris Butler, does have an iPhone. She reports in her newsletter, Boston Beer News, that there are several fun and useful beer apps to sample.
If you’re someplace where you can’t have an actual beer, you can get a virtual beer at either iBeer or iPint. Butler says iBeer offers more color choices.
If you’re traveling, BeerBrands can tell you about the local beers in the city you’re visting.
And if you make your own beer, HBCalc can help you tweak your recipes.
