Macrumors.com is reporting that the latest beta of iTunes (version 8.2) has mentions of Blu-Ray on it’s splash screen.

This version is being tested in concert with the iPhone 3.0 operating system, so look for a release date in late June or July.

Apple has stayed conspicuously absent from the Blu-Ray party and if you’re like me, you are more than ready to join in.
