iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5 Ready For Jailbreak via Unofficial QuickPWN 3.0 Beta 5, Cydia 3.0 Now Working

Well, this didn’t take too long to show up. Although the iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5 was released only this week, the software has been already jailbroken thanks to an unofficial QuickPWN 3.0 Beta 5.

Just like the previous versions, this is an unofficial release therefore you should be very careful when you install, but you can always wait for the iPhone dev team to release the official version. We already know that for all iPhone 3.0 beta version, we’ve had unofficial QuickPWN 3.o Beta versions which were really buggy, didn’t include Cydia 3.0, some users might experience problems with 3G radio, and the unofficial version might cause iPhone 3G to become unlockable.

The great part about this unofficial QuickPWN 3.0 Beta 5 is that it includes Cydia 3.0 and it works with iPhone OS 3.o Beta 5. Attention! This QuickPWN 3.0 Beta 5 works smoothly with iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5, but ONLY for iPhone 3G handsets!

I remind you that MMS tethering is still present in this version and here are the setting for AT&T MMS:

• APN: wap.cingular;
• Username: wap@cingulargprs.com;
• Password which is case sensitive: CINGULAR1;
• MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com;
• MMS Proxy: 66.209.11.32.
