Microsoft Officially Introduces FaceBook For Windows Mobile 6

FaceBook is the largest social networking website on the Internet while Microsoft is… the developer of Windows software including Windows Mobile. However, Microsoft’s OS didn’t feature an official application for FaceBook therefore users who own handsets based on Windows Mobile couldn’t enjoy the whole FaceBook experience on their beloved devices. Well, all of this can be forgotten now as the official FaceBook application for Windows Mobile 6 has been unveiled.

It’s not great, but it’s good and it gives you the possibility to send messages to anybody from your Friends list, shoot photos or videos and then upload them to your favorite social networking website, and you can also edit your FaceBook profile or post something on your wall. Another great features is that FaceBook for Windows Mobile 6 allows you to call anybody in your Friends list.

Although it’s very different from the FaceBook app for BlackBerry smartphones, it is clearly not better than that one. Also it’s not better than the iPhone application, but this FaceBook for Windows Mobile app is still in early-stage development. However, being an official application it’s better than unofficial apps and they are far more stable. Let’s not forget about security, and FaceBook for Windows Mobile 6 should be very secure as we wouldn’t want hackers to get their hands on our personal information.
