New iPhone 2009 will be offered with 32GB

The new iPhone is rumored since a while to come in a 32GB version. End of the week two leaks kind of confirm this iPhone rumor.

First the a 32GB iPhone place holder appeared on the Austrian T-Mobile site and AppleInsider reports that a 32GB iPhone is listed as option in the AT&T upgrade program for BlackBerries.

The trade-in option states specifically “iPhone 32GB 3G”, which is a bit weird as this would mean Apple keeps the same name for the new iPhone.

As the new iPhone is most likely “just” a performance upgrade it could be though the case that the new iPhone will be keeping the same name: iPhone 3G.

At this point it is pretty safe to say that there will be 32GB version of the new iPhone 2009. Also pretty much confirmed is the compass feature at this point.
