Create and manage a custom iPhone app for your band - Grooveeffect

During my last trip to NYC I met one of the guys behind Mobile Roadie in Williamsburg, and was quite impressed with the app. Basically it allows any band to generate an iPhone app for their band, get it up on the app store, and continually update the app’s content with minimal effort.

Which is good, because the overlap between “musicians” and “iPhone developers” is probably pretty small

The platform lets you do some pretty cool things - you can allow users to see your photos, stream your music, get tour dates, stream your videos from YouTube, and other such stuff. There’s even user fan walls where your app users can interact with each other. And all of this is easy to update online - you can add new videos, pics, songs, etc. quickly and easily, and it will automatically push out and update the app on all their iPhones.
