New Apple iPhone 3G S release Friday

Apple introduced its new iPhone 3G S at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Since then, the product has gained a large amount of publicity with many people waiting to buy their first iPhone.

With the introduction of the iPhone 3G S, customers are also given an incentive to purchase the older iPhone 3G.

According to Apple, the iPhone 3G 8 gigabyte version will be sold for only $99 with a two year service agreement.

The new Apple iPhone 3G S will be sold for $199 for the 16 gigabyte version and $299 for the 32 gigabyte version. To obtain an Apple iPhone, customers are required to sign up for a two year agreement with AT&T Wireless.

In Chicago, the service agreement itself will set you back about $40 per month for 450 rollover minutes. The data plan, which is also required for the iPhone, will cost you at least $30 per month as well.

The iPhone 3G S boasts many new features which has tech enthusiasts excited.

• 3MP camera with auto focus and video recording capabilities
• New Processor (supposed to make it about 2x’s faster)
• Compass
• Increased Battery Life
• Increased accessibility for visually or hearing impaired
• iPhone location finder (helps if you lose it)
