Apple’s Video Tour of the New iPhone 3G S
Apple’s got a shiny video tour of its brand-spanking new iPhone 3G S up today, so take a long coffee break and let that Apple-product-tour calm wash over you.

Pre Sets All Sprint Sales Records, but Can’t Touch the iPhone
According to a Sprint press release from this weekend, the Palm Pre is the company’s fastest seller ever, setting sales records for the company’s best first day and best first weekend. Unfortunately, Sprint’s staying mum about the number of devices sold, but figures from J.P. Morgan appearing in yesterday’s Wall Street Journal suggest that Sprint moved 50,000 of the devices over the weekend. How’s this stack up to the iPhone? Not even close — the first iPhone sold 146,000 units in its first weekend.

Famed Nintendo Producer Not Worried by New Controllers
What? Microsoft and Sony have both announced video game motion controllers in dual bids to grab some of that magic Nintendo Wii sauce? ‘Tis but a trifle if you’re Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo’s legendary game producer (he’s created the Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong franchises, and still more). He told the BBC that he’s “flattered” by the new competition, but “not worried at all.”

BMW Puts the Brakes on, Automatically
If you think your adaptive cruise control is cool, then you clearly aren’t driving a German-enough car. The country has a long history of advanced motorized tech, and now BMW is teaming up with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Germany to develop a system that detects when a driver has a medical emergency and automatically pulls the vehicle to the side of the road, then calls for help. Get it together, OnStar.
