Order Pizza Hut from your iPhone

There’s an iPhone App for seemingly everything — and even Pizza Hut has joined the fray.

The national pizza chain Wednesday introduced an app that lets customers order pizza and other good stuff from their iPhones, while also taking advantage of some of the fun features of the device itself.

Bernard Acoca, Pizza Hut’s senior director of digital marketing likens the App to “playing a video game while ordering a pizza.” Create your own pizza in the app, drag and drop the toppings, shake the Chicken Wings, pull a sale coupon off a virtual refrigerator.

With over 1.5 billion apps downloaded by iPhone users, “we recognize that there’s something big going on,” says Acoca. “Apple’s technology platform enabled us to create an experience for our customers that makes ordering easier, faster and more fun.”
