iPhone / BlackBerry(Storm,Bold, Curve, Pearl) Free Apps 2DAy: iDrive Lite Contact Backup

Talk about syncronycity, we just wrote an article about disaster tips and suggest contact backup and low and behold there is a free mobile app for backing up your contacts.  And the iDrive service also allows you backup up to 2 Gigabytes of data from your computer for free.

iDrive Lite installs on your BlackBerry or iPhone then it backups your contacts to the their server, which you can restore over data networks.  You can also manage your contacts on the web.  Then you can access them on the web with or with out your BlackBerry Storm or iPhone.

If you have both an iPhone and BlackBerry iDrive Lite allows you to restore contacts from another device (iPhone to BlackBerry or vice versa).

iDrive in future iPhone versions will ad the ability to share photos on your iPhone.

Requirements iPhone: iPhone OS 2.0 or later.
