NAVIGON AG has today launched the full version of its MobileNavigator iPhone satellite navigation application for Australian roads, following the release of a ‘Lite’ version in July.
MobileNavigator, unlike the inbuilt Google Maps application and thanks to its locally stored apps, can be used without an internet connection.

Featuring a simple intuitive user-interface, the MobileNavigator app offers voice announcements, intelligent address entry, and a variety of views including Reality View Pro: a realistic display of freeway and tollway interchanges and exits.

Other features include a speed assistant with audio-visual warning, day and night mode, direct access to contacts in the iPhone address book, Take Me Home function, Lane Assistant Pro, and quick access to user-defined points of interest nearby and along the selected route.
Until August 15, Navigon’s MobileNavigator Australia is available for the discounted price of $69.99, before switching to its regular retail price of $99.99.
MobileNavigator is compatible with iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.
