Spins on the iPhone decides who pays the bill!

You know how it is when we are out with friends for dinner or drinks…when the bill comes round everyone either tries to grab it, or no one does. To solve the problem of the bill being torn into pieces or lying there glaringly on the table, Spins comes along with the idea of spinning and seeing who is lucky or unlucky enough to foot the bill.

There are two modes that you can use; couples and party. The former is obviously for two people out on a date, and the latter can be used for two to six people. To play, add people by inserting their picture in the slots given. You can choose their pictures from your photo album. Once you’ve added a player, Spins has it on record for future use.

Then type in the bill amount, and Spins will automatically calculate 10% of it for the tip and display the total bill amount. The next step is to simply spin and see who is bestowed with the honor of shelling out the moolah. Spins again keeps a tally of who pays and how much, so you can always keep a tab on the spending and the spenders.

The application also has three other fun modes to spice up dull moments. To play all three, you just have to spin, spin and spin. The Yes or No mode lets you decide random questions with a yes or a no. With the Loves me/not mode, you can play the classic petal-plucking game on the iPhone. And as for the Lucky Numbers, you can spin and see which is your lucky number from 1 to 10.

I think Spins is a fun application. It helps you makes decisions in an amusing way, and the fun modes are good entertainment. Just make sure you have sporty friends around while spinning; you don’t want anyone grumbling at his ill luck!
