Are you having problems?

AT&T’s customer care center has a recorded announcement up informing people that there’s MMS latency issues around the country and that while the issue is being worked on, there’s no estimated time for an actual fix.

Well, isn’t that interesting - considering I actually think that MMS is better today here in Chicago. Maybe it’s all those pictures I’m sending - perhaps I’ve singlehandedly brought down the network around me everywhere else?

If so, I’m sorry. Totally not my intention.

But assuming I didn’t actually cause this problem …

… it’s certainly not a good sign that there are MMS problems 24 hours in. But AT&T deserves kudos mentioning this on the recorded announcement and letting people know right away.

Also, prior to this problem, AT&T mentioned on its Facebook page that MMS should be active and working normally for everyone and anyone who is unable to send - remember, this is prior to the previously-mentioned problem - they should call 611 or go to an AT&T store to make sure the iPhone is provisioned correctly.

So let me know in the comments or on Twitter if you are having troubles with your iPhone MMS sending and receiving today - and also just let me know in general how your experiences with the new service have been.
And if you are having problems, give AT&T a little time before calling 611.

Thanks for calling.
