Fieldrunners PSP levels heading to iPhone
It has emerged that the two level maps especially designed for the PSP’s downloadable edition of Fieldrunners are to be released as add-ons for the iPhone.
Developed by Subatomic Studios, Fieldrunners has enjoyed immense success on Apple’s App Store, and stands as a cornerstone of the popular ‘tower defense’ genre.
As reported by Touch Arcade, the new emerged at the Penny Arcade Expo 2009, otherwise known as PAX. The two PSP levels, titled Frostbite and Skyway, will be available for iPhone for 99c each.
Subatomic also revealed that porting the game from iPhone to PSP was easier than they had expected; news that may mean those who purchase the forthcoming PSPgo will see a number of iPhone titles heading to the Sony handheld.
