The TomTom car kit is designed to complement the recently released TomTom sat nav app for iPhone 3GS, but is not likely to be available to buy in the UK until October 2009. Its price is rumoured to be around £100, whereas the sat nav app itself is available to download from the Apple app store for £59.99.
