The official word from AT&T is that iPhone MMS will arrive “late morning” Pacific time, or early afternoon Eastern time. You’ll have to plug into a computer and hit up iTunes to get the update, but it’s not clear exactly when MMS will turn on, so just have to keep refreshing until you get the go-ahead.

Earlier this week, some lucky iPhone users received the ability to send video and picture messages, as AT&T had been experimenting with MMS ahead of today’s launch.
The rest of us will have to wait until AT&T throws the switch. In the mean time, check out the chatter on AT&T’s Facebook page.
You’re probably good to patch in for the update when the majority of commenters start saying “Got it!”
