Lala has had a busy week. In addition to partnering with Google for its new Discover Music search Wednesday, the streaming music site submitted its first iPhone app to Apple on Monday.
The free app will work much like the service at lala.com: Users can preview a full-length version of the song once, and are then presented with the option to buy that song for 10 cents. That purchase does not download the song for use on other devices, but it does provides access to unlimited streams of the song–on the iPhone or lala.com.

Expecting a strong surge in demand during the holiday season, Apple Inc. has reportedly hiked up its production and has even increased orders for its components by up to 20 percent.
According to reports carried out by DigiTimes, a leading Taiwanese trade magazine, Apple has increased orders to its partner companies like Primax Electronics and Foxconn Electronics from 17 to 20 percent.
Most analysts predict that the demand for Apple 3GS is expected to skyrocket in the coming months and the move by Apple to ramp up its production is on expected lines and is essential to keep up with the surge in demand.
Of late Apple iPhones have been flying of the shelves in many regions and even its COO, Tim Cook admitted in a conference call that the handsets are in short supply and he would have liked to have more of them.
