If a consumer buys something and does not like it they can usually get a refund, except when they buy something from the Apple store.
Apple do not have any refund options for consumers not happy with apps that they choose to download for their iPhones, a fact that is pissing off a lot of people.
The majority of apps available for download are not of a price that would make a consumer really sweat over if they didn’t work when downloaded, but even so not having the option for a refund if one is not happy with the app is not very cool, especially when Apple touts their customer service as the best in the industry.
According to Apple, people should read the reviews of apps before downloading them, therefore they will be very unlikely to download an app that they do not like.
There is one, and only one way in which a consumer can be refunded after paying for an app.
If your application does not download properly, and you can prove this to be the case, Apple will refund your money.
