Boston (DbTechNo) - A leading Morgan Stanley analyst has predicted that Apple iPhone sales could go through the roof if the company went with multiple carriers instead of just one.

Currently all Apple iphones in the US run because of AT&T, but the exclusive contract between the carrier and Apple will expire in early 2010.
Many iPhone customers are not pleased with AT&T, because of poor coverage zones, and shotty customer service.
Currently Apple holds just over 4.5% of the Smartphone market share in America, and analysts believe that if they were to add more carriers, this number could go up to 12 percent.
If Apple were for example, to add Verizon to their list of approved iPhone carriers, they would open the door to an entire new customer base, of frustrated AT&T subscribers looking to make a break for the door.
Currently AT&T have fewer subscribers than do Verizon, another reason why adding Verizon is an excellent idea.
