Magellan RoadMate App For The iPhone Debuts

The Magellan RoadMate App for the iPhone is now available on the iTunes Store. Retailing for $79.99, the app claims to be full-featured GPS solution for the iPhone and includes a number of cutting-edge features.

The Magellan RoadMate App offers lane guidance as well as text-to-speech so that you don’t have to take your eyes off the road. The on board QuickSpell with SmartCity Search lets you enter addresses quickly and makes searching easier. The app also features the OneTouch Favorites Menu which lets you access all your favorite places and searches from a single menu.

Some other nifty include; Address Book Integration which helps in navigating to a contact and In-app Music Control which lets you control your music from the app itself.  The Magellan RoadMate App looks like a decent app and would offer enhanced functionality once used in conjunction with the car kit that Magellan have been working on.
