According to an article over on intomobile, the Random House Publishing Group has teamed with Mobile Roadie to deliver applications for the iPhone for their best-selling authors.

The new iPhone applications initially include 3 New York Times best-selling authors, Sophie Kinsella, Steve Berry, and Karen Marie Moning.

Sophie Kinsella is the author of such books as The Undomestic Goddess, Twenties Girl, Remember Me? And the Shopaholic series. Steve Berry is author of The Templar Legacy, The Paris Vendetta and The Chalemagne Pursuit, while Karen Marie Moning is author of the MacKayla Lane Series that includes Bloodfever, Faefever, Darkfever and Dreamfever.

Apparently users will be able to preview books, interact with fans, check upcoming author appearances, and listen to audiobook clips, access bonus content, watch book trailers and author videos and more in the new applications.
