3 billion apps for iPod and iPhone downloaded from App Store in 18 months

On Apple`s official website, Steve Jobs made a press release where he announced that more than three billion apps were downloaded by users on the globe.

The revolutionary App Store offered to iPod and iPhone users the possibility to buy and download apps in a way like never before.

The strong connection between Apple and its clients is the testimony to a successful market strategy. This huge number of apps was sold in only 18 months, a performance that cannot be achieved anytime soon by Apple`s competitors.

Apple fans can choose from a range of 20 categories of apps, satisfying all needs of the people. With iPhone and iPod Apple started the digital revolution and content started to be carried by music fans.
