Google’s Nexus One vs. Apple’s iPhone 3GS

Touchscreen technology has reached great heights and today most people want their accessories to have touchscreens. If buttons and excess typing on your mobile phone makes your fingers ache, then these two accessories are the products for you.

The Google Nexus One touch screen phone is produced and manufactured by HTC and has fascinating capabilities and technical attributes. The iPhone, which is manufactured by Apple has very similar abilities.

The Nexus comes with a removable 1400 mAH battery which charges from a USB type charger provided by the manufacturer upon purchase. It provides different degrees of talk time depending on the type of phone you purchase. The 2G version offers up to 10 hours of talk time before charging becomes essential, whilst the 3G version offers 7 hours.

The 2G offers 290 hours of standby time whie the 3G version offers up to 250 hours. The iPhone from Apple comes with the ability to be used as a regular iPod. It allows the user to “tap in” the number they wish to call and has long-lasting battery power. Emailing and texting is made easy in this futuristic gismo built for ordinary consumers, as you can switch from a number pad to a keypad with large enough symbols so that anyone can utilize it with ease.

Capacity

Both Nexus models come equipped with 512MB Flash memory, 512MB RAM and a 4GB Micro SD Card which is expandable to 32 GB. The iPhone has large banks of memory and offers users the ability to expand them with memory cards as well.

Camera & Flash

Both models come with a 5 megapixel capable camera and autofocus ability along with the ability to locate the location pictures were taken from via the use of satellite technology. The iPhone offers users the ability to shoot videos of high resolution and quality with the option to edit at the end of the process.

Interesting Features

All the phones have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, allowing for mobile connectivity as long as the service is available. And they all offer impressive internet options to make you feel like you are at home on your personal computer.
