Wondering what some third-party iPad apps might look like? The Website Boy Genius Report posted a whole slew of screen shots over the weekend. The shots are apparently apps in the process of being approved for the iPad launch. It would seem safe to assume early adopters will be able to purchase the apps this weekend.

Some popular games we spotted were Flick Fishing, the ridiculously addictive Flight Control, and pretty spiffy looking Real Racing. Non-game apps that caught our eye were OmniGraffle, Twitterriffic, and Reuters Pro. OmniGraffle for iPad was announced about a couple months ago. (OmniGroup planning to bring five apps to iPad)
Some pricing we gleaned, Flight Control HD was $4.99, Flick Fishing HD $2.99, and OmniGraffle going for the fences with $49.99. Real Racing was listed at $9.99 and Twitterriffic was free, although a Pro version may be available or in the works just as on the iPhone/iPod.
BGR also notes that you will be able to browse iTunes apps from the iPad in coverflow. Also, MacStories has a video demo of the store in action.
