The new Adobe CS5 (Creative Suite 5) is just around the corner for its final release. As an added perk, the developers have also bundled the whole package with a new cross compiler tool, which is going to let anyone convert their flash applications, into iPhone coded applications.
But alas, I don’t think Adobe’s expectations will be long lived, because of the amendments in Apple’s disclaimer for the iPhone, the iPad and the iPod.
Lets face it, Apple already had some sort of grudges against Adobe and hearing this thing from Steve Jobs – “The Adobe Flash is just not quick enough for the iPhone and it eats up a lot of valuable resources”, is the lamest reason for banning Adobe Flash for the iPhone.
So what’s going to happen now? Is Adobe going to hang in there and still scamper around the iPhone for any chances of mercy? No, of course not, and believe it or not, Google has plans for releasing its new Android Tablet, so Adobe guys are shifting their interests towards Google.
To put things in a nutshell, Adobe is no longer continuing with that “cross compiler – no-good-for-iPhone application” because Apple’s software agreement tool even bans the usage of any sort of cross compiler tools as well. In my opinion, Apple is just trying to create trouble for its own self and the tides are going to change against Apple in the near future.
