Earlier this week, we posted videos of Chopper 2 (still under development) played on an iPad that utilizes an iPhone as a wireless controller. Apparently, another game has already hit the App Store that uses the same concept. This time, it’s in an old 1980s racing game called PadRacer.
SMHK Funlab recreates the old overhead racing game and uses the iPad to display the racetrack, while you control your racer via Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Simply install PadRacer on both devices, set the iPad (racetrack) on a table, get behind your iPhone/iPod Touch (steering wheel) and prepare to burn rubber!
PadRacer is available now at the App Store for $4.99.
Check out PadRacer’s gameplay on the video below.
