iPhone fans are keenly waiting for the release of iPhone 4G this year from Apple, but the leak of the iPhone 4G prototype by tech blog Gizmodo has ruined some of the surprise element.
Now what about the Verizon iPhone release date? Analysts are expecting that Apple will introduce the new Verizon iPhone this year. Notably, analysts had made similar predictions in 2008 as well, but it did not happen, so don’t pin too much hopes on the analysts’ predictions. If Apple will come up with a Verizon iPhone this year, it would have to take help from Verizon Wireless CDMA network, while Verizon’s 4G network is unlikely to be released before 2011.
Yesterday, the Cupertino-based company sent out an e-mail to all developers with the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) announcement, which is scheduled to take place from June 7 to June 11. More than 5,000 Apple engineers and developers are expected to attend the WWDC. Interested developers could attend the conference by paying $1,599 to Apple. The event will be organised in San Francisco. Analysts are expecting that Apple would release the new iPhone 4G with iPhone OS 4.0 during the WWDC.
The review published by Gizmodo has made it clear that the new iPhone 4G will have a front facing camera and its screen’s resolution will be higher than the other iPhones. Apple’s new iPhone 4G will not support the Adobe Flash Player plugin, because Apple wants developers to use HTML 5 instead of Adobe’s product.
