Apple apologized for the iPhone 4 problem on Friday in a letter that was posted on their website. It addressed complaints about the iPhone 4 smartphone’s signal losing problem.

According the announcement, the problem occurs when the iPhone’s lower-left corner is hand covered. Apple blames two things for this issue, the software and the iPhone 4′s wraparound stainless-steel antenna. Apple said that a software update will be released in a few weeks, and it will adopt AT&T‘s “recommended formula” for calculating the signal strength.
Experts in the wireless networks field said this software fix won’t solve the antenna problem, however it’s not clear whether there is a serious problem with the iPhone 4′s antenna since all cell phones experience some level of signal-strength reduction when they are held. Despite this issue the sales doesn’t seem to slow down, the Apple iPhone 4 is still a best seller among other smarthpones.
