The battle for top dog in the cell phone market is not decided just yet, thanks to the Motorola Droid X.

Apple recently released their iPhone 4, but amidst many setbacks and problems with the device, the upcoming Motorola Droid X is looking more and more appealing to many consumers.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the features:

• 4.3″ Display
• 8 Megapixel camera, capable of shooting in HD video,  720p
• HDMI connectivity allows you to share your videos directly from your phone on your HDTV
• 1Ghz processor
• 8Gb of memory, with micro SD slot allowing you to expand to up to 40Gb
• Android 2.2
• Built in Flash playback capabilities
• Ability to act as a wifi hotspot, sharing your internet connection with up to 5 devices
• Android Market with thousands of apps for download and install
• Automatic updates of email, MySpace, Facebook and Twitter accounts so you can follow them on your phone

In addition to the features for the phone, there are already a line of accessories that are ready to be sold when the phone launches July 15th. Including a car GPS style mount, as well as a stand to allow you to cradle the phone while using it for HDMI playback or other functions, the Droid X is touting itself to be an all-in-one device to replace your existing phone, GPS device, MP3 player and micro HD video camera/digial camera.

When compared to the problems faced by many iPhone 4 users already, the Droid X may be looking at a fantastic release.
