iPhone users can now get insurance against loss or accidents through AT&T.
With a charge of $150 to replace a cracked screen, you would think it would be a good idea. But Consumer Reports said it is not worth the price.

The policy has a $12 a month fee and a $199 deductible.
And customers would have to pay the full retail price to replace an iPhone up to $699.
That means customers would have paid $144 in fees and still have to pay the deductible for a total of $343.
Consumer Reports said if an owner lost or broke a new phone after a year, it would be better to buy a used iPhone or get an older one from a friend until the contract is up.
