Delta announces iPhone application

Delta is really getting into the 21st century this week. After announcing Facebook integration into their booking system, they’ve announced a new iPhone/iPad application that will be coming soon.

The new application will offer the ability to check in for flights, flight status, review upcoming flight schedules, review your SkyMiles account, and in select cities use an eBoarding pass. Future upgrades should include booking flights and seat selection.

Add in the newly redesigned Delta home page and Facebook integration and you can see Delta is really putting in an effort to embrace the digital age.
