The title says it all. The iPhone 4 will be making its grand debut in China on September 16th via China Unicom.

This isn’t an official announcement from Apple though, but is based on information shared by a China Unicom source. The tipster further added that China Unicom will be requiring those who wish to get the iPhone 4 on the very first day to pre-order their units online. Everyone customer will also reportedly get a free case along with their new iPhone, a move, no doubt, influenced by the whole antennagate fiasco in the US. As leaks often go, this could be totally spot on or completely off. With that being said, we are optimistic that the iPhone 4 will be launched sometime in September in China. We’re just not completely sure when it’ll happen.
Anyway, with this news of the iPhone 4 launching in China on September 16th, it’s probably safe to assume that other countries that belong to the next wave of iPhone 4 releases will also be getting their fair share of iPhone 4 goodness around the same time as well including Korea and the Philippines.
