Verizon iPhone 5 Coming In January Will Solve Death Grip Issue?

Well, its clear that Verizon iPhone rumours will never die until the Phone on Verizon becomes a reality. Now DVICE claims that an anonymous source has provided the website information about new Verizon iPhone. One of the most striking revelations is that Verizon iPhone will have a new antenna and the information has led many to call it Verizon iPhone 5.

DVICE says that the new antenna will be “relief” for users worried about iPhone 4’s infamous “Antenngate”. DVICE adds that the source has the prototype of the rumoured smartphone. An image of the new smartphone has also been displayed along with the sensational report.

The source, DVICE says, who has gone through the different Verizon iPhone prototypes over the last few months, says that new smartphone will be loaded with an internal antenna—which has been specially incorporated on Verizon’s insistence. If source is to be believed, the new phone will have no antenna problem or death grip problems. In fact, it would have a new and more rugged exterior. There’s also small chances that exterior will be made up of new alloy, licensed exclusively by Apple for mobile handsets.

Considering the image posted on the website, the smartphone would have larger screen as compared to iPhone 4 we have presently. The screen is expected to be close to the same size as on Droid 2 (3.7 inches). But it’s unclear the screen will be advertised as Retina Display or not. The best thing about the handset is that it would have a faster processor, perhaps the much talked about the 1.2GHz chip. DVICE says that the new handset will certainly not be a clone of iPhone 4. Lets hope this time ‘iPhone coming to Verizon’ does not remain a rumor.
