Verizon iPhone, White iPhone 4 And Facebook Places ‘Scare’

Rumors about Verizon iPhone continue, and recycled over and over again and, the much-anticipated Apple launch will include white iPhone 4? Plus, Facebook Places gets first critics.

Verizon iPhone Rumor Recycling Center, And White iPhone 4 Coming To Town?

While most rumors on the internet are still recycled countless times by some anonymous Wordpress blogs, the point is still the same, the Verizon iPhone might hit the market as soon as the “kinks” were resolved.

It was earlier reported that iPhone 4 creator Apple is still in talks with Verizon. The two giant companies are still fixing some “problems”, mostly technical.

And here comes a new iPhone rumor, some say white iPhone 4 might become available in the market in September. Tech blabs say Apple might launch the new colour of iPhone 4, as well as the new smaller iPod versions on its scheduled event on the first day of September.

Regarding the recycled Verizon iPhone rumors, I think blogs in Google news should stop posting the same article countless times. It’s really hard for us consumers/researches to find the most credible posts about the issue.

Facebook Places: Just Too Much Information?

Speaking of iPhone 4, the Facebook app users are currently enjoying the new service called “Places.” But a group of people believes that this new location-sharing service of the social network giant is just too much!

Dan Olds, an analyst at The Gabriel Consulting Group, tells Reuters that there are a many reasons why someone might be hesitant to use Facebook Places.

“Would you want a wide number of people to know that there’s no one home at your house?” Olds asked. “And, couple that information with Facebook posts about how you put your dog in a kennel while you’re on a two-week trip, that’s just too much information to put out there. Many people think they’re only sharing it with their friends, but they have to assume that they’re sharing it with anyone who can access their friends’ computers or Facebook accounts.”

Is privacy really dying? Well, I think so!
